Two alternatives are proposed for this circuit dedicated to the 14/18 battlefields.

1 / Departure from Nancy and crossing the hill of Montsec, halfway between Nancy and Verdun, superb American memorial perched at the top of a hill overlooking Madine Lake. Arrival on Verdun at the end of the morning, discover the city center and the famous Quai de Londres. After lunch, go to the Verdun Memorial, the Ossuary and Fort Douaumont, located 10km from Verdun.

2 / Departure from Nancy and arrive directly at the Verdun Memorial (1h40 drive). Lunch at L’Abri des Pelerins restaurant (closed on Wednesdays) located in the heart of the sites to visit. Pursuit in the afternoon by the Ossuary, the fort of Douaumont, the bayonets trench, the destroyed village of Fleury. This formula makes it possible to devote more time to the different major sites to visit, and does not guarantee the passage in the city of Verdun according to the rhythm of the visits.
